The House of the Rising Sun, o anche House of the Rising Sun e raramente Rising Sun Blues, è una canzone folk tradizionale americana che racconta di una vita sfortunata ed è ambientata a New Orleans. L’espressione “House of the Rising Sun” (Casa del sole nascente) è un eufemismo per indicare una casa chiusa. La versione più nota è quella degli Animals uscita come singolo nel 1964. Questa versione si trova al #122 posto della lista The 500 Greatest Songs of All Times della rivista Rolling Stone.
